Money is good, but...
Money can't solve all problems. It can certainly help a lot, but sometimes money can even create more problems. Consider a long record of lottery winners who ended up worse in the long run. Money can't meet the deepest needs of the soul. Just consider how some of the richest celebrities have been among the most miserable and depressed. Money can't buy love. Just ask the Beatles! At the end of your life, you'll be thankful for the good things you had. But all the material goods you enjoyed won't be there to comfort you as you transition into eternity. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36).
There's more to this life
It's not about religion. It's not about going to church, a temple, or a synagogue. But it IS about God. We were created to know Him. God never intended for man to have such a difficult time in such a corrupt world. That came about because of our own free will and poor choices. The Bible calls it sin. Man turned his back on God, and the devil took advantage of it. Jesus Christ gave His life on a cross to save us from sin. And not just to save us, but to pour out true wealth upon us. This isn't just for after you die, but God wants you to have an abundant life now. Jesus said, "The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).
No earning here!
No one can be good enough to get to heaven or to receive God's favor. We have to work and be smart earners on earth to gain natural wealth. But God's wealth is supernatural. It can't be earned. It can only be received as a free gift. That's what Jesus purchased for all humanity when He died on a cross and then rose from the dead. Now, "whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
It's as simple as saying "Yes" to Jesus. God will come into your life and fill the void that all the money in the world can't fill. It's not about being religious. But it is about discovering and living in a real relationship with God that brings heaven into your heart. Be a smart earner! I want the best for you. But also be smart and receive the wealth that you can't earn, eternal life through Jesus Christ. Read the New Testament to start discovering who He is. Please contact me if I can help.
